    Each of the other shows released have their own sets of "problems" with the mix and/or mastering. For example, the Holmdel, New Jersey show (August 30, ) features a great performance, but the vocals are mixed way too low, there are various echo/reverb problems and the drums suffer from a "slapping sound" (see individual review below).

    The Who was on the eve of beginning the North American leg of their tour in support of the DVD release of Live at the Royal Albert Hall, which was recorded and filmed earlier that year in London, when bass player John Entwistle, easily one of the best and most distinctive bass players in the history of rock, died of a heart attack the night before the tour was to bladeterrorzanntegal.infoinfo: Encore Series.
