Through the Ashes of Empires is an excellent metal album with some of the best Machine Head songs I've heard in bladeterrorzanntegal.infoinfoum starts off the album and kicks you right square in the testicles as it slowly ascends and then goes balls out with old school thrash breakdowns remniscent of old Testament or /5().

Many songs from the album remain in the set list today, including “Bite The Bullet”, "Descend The Shades Of Night” and ferocious opening track “Imperium" which even 16 years later, continues to open many Machine Head shows.

HEAD CASES!As you all remember, on our recent UK leg of the on-going ‘BURN MY EYES’ 25th Anniversary tour we had the infamous "Beer-Gate" incident, where at the sold-out London show some jackass threw a large pint of beer into our sound board, destroying.
